This afternoon, Woodland High School recognized both National Diabetes Month and World Diabetes Day with a school-wide moment of awareness and unity. As part of this observance, Ms. Reeves and her Health Science students coordinated a gathering during CREW, bringing together students and staff who wore blue to show their support. The group came together in the hall to highlight the importance of diabetes education, visibility, and community support, turning a simple photograph into a meaningful reminder of the impact this health issue has on millions. Special credit to Principal White for capturing the photos. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped strengthen our school’s commitment to awareness and advocacy.

Yesterday, our Assistant Principals took part in a district-wide school swap as part of Dorchester School District Four’s Assistant Principal Development Program. Each AP spent the day at a different school, gaining valuable insight into new environments, leadership styles, and age groups. The group came together for lunch at the District Office to reflect, share experiences, and discuss lessons learned, turning a single day into a powerful opportunity for growth and collaboration.
