DD4 Releases new grade reporting dates. Tropical Storm Debby caused DD4 to alter the master calendar which shifted grading periods. Parents and students can now expect Interim Reports and Report cards to be issued on the posted dates.

The annual Dorchester County Showdown took on a fresh twist this year, hosted at Ashley Ridge High School. Unlike previous showdowns and jamborees, where local Dorchester County schools faced off against each other, this year's event saw the county's top football teams matched up against schools from outside the county. Whys is attendance important?
Regular attendance fosters a classroom community between teachers and children. Students who attend school are more likely to succeed academically. Students gain background knowledge from discussions while learning in school. Attending school also provides time for social interactions with peers.
