A big thank you to Mrs. Linda Lewis, Mrs. Mary Primus, Nurse Kim Reeves and her Health Science class for coordinating this meaningful event, and to Ms. Lanesha Green for providing the beautiful pink balloons around the track. 🚗 Woodland High School Hosts the "Save A Life Tour" 🚗
On Friday, Woodland High School welcomed the impactful "Save A Life Tour," coordinated by WHS Career Specialist, Rania Thompson. The program emphasized safe driving practices, covering essential topics such as driver experience, safety restraint use, distracted and impaired driving, motorcycle awareness, and more. Students attended presentations, watched powerful visuals, and experienced hands-on simulators for impaired and distracted driving behaviors, gaining a real-world look at the consequences of poor driving choices.
Woodland students had the opportunity to sign a pledge card, participate in interactive simulations like the texting-and-driving and drunk driving simulators, and take in important data and statistics. At the end of the event, a recognition banner was presented to Woodland High School, marking our commitment to road safety.
A huge thank you to the Save A Life Tour team for raising awareness and encouraging our students to make safe choices on the road! 🚗💪 #SaveALifeTour #WoodlandHS #DriveSafe
