Dorchester School District Four to Honor Everyday Heroes

Dorchester School District Four continues its “Everyday Hero” employee recognition program, recognizing employees whose dedication and service make a positive difference for our students and schools. Each honoree receives a certificate of appreciation and a distinguished coin from the Superintendent.

This month, the district will recognize Ms. Nicole Bryant, Coordinator of Student Services, and Mrs. Kimberly Chubb, Music Teacher at Clay Hill Elementary School and Harleyville Elementary School.

Bryant was nominated by Dr. Nancy Britt-Stevens, Director of Student Services, for her commitment to student attendance, support for multilingual students, and willingness to assist wherever needed. Dr. Britt-Stevens praised Bryant for celebrating students with good attendance, leading attendance campaigns, advocating for multilingual learners, and encouraging students across the district.

“Ms. Bryant’s commitment, positivity, and passion make a meaningful impact on our school community,” said Dr. Britt-Stevens.

Chubb was nominated by Mrs. Kimberly Hartzog, Assistant Principal of Clay Hill Elementary School, for the enthusiasm and creativity she has brought to music education at both schools. Since joining the district midway through the previous school year, Chubb has organized musical productions at both schools, contributed to school programs and events, and helped students grow in their vocal and instrumental abilities.

“Ms. Chubb has truly brought the joy of music back to our students,” said Hartzog. “She brings positivity, creativity, dedication, and a genuine love for students to her work each day.”

Dorchester School District Four congratulates Bryant and Chubb on being named September Everyday Heroes and thanks them for the difference they make in the lives of students and throughout the district.

Ms. Bryant and Mrs. Chubb will be honored at the September 15 School Board Meeting.
