Woodland High School JROTC Completes National Guard AFT
The Woodland High School JROTC Wolverine Battalion recently completed the National Guard Army Fitness Test (AFT), showing incredible determination, teamwork, and school pride throughout the event.
Cadets pushed themselves to do their very best, demonstrating the strength, discipline, and leadership that the JROTC program builds every day. Their success for this event would not have been possible without the continued support of the National Guard Recruiters and SFC Kevin Simpson (Ret), who dedicated his time and effort to help prepare the cadets for this important milestone.
“This event allowed our cadets to challenge themselves and grow together as a team,” said Army Instructor SFC Kevin Simpson (Ret.).
“We’re proud of every cadet who took part and grateful to the National Guard for their partnership and support,” added Cadet Corporal and S5 Assistant Jayvonne Mayfield.
The Wolverine Battalion leadership would like to extend a special thank you to the cadets and their parents for their encouragement, participation, and commitment in making this achievement possible.
The Woodland High School community congratulates all JROTC cadets for their hard work and dedication. This accomplishment reflects their spirit, perseverance, and pride in being part of the Wolverine Battalion!
