Holds a Bachelor's of Science in Political Science from Savannah State University and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Charleston Southern University.


LTC (Retired) Wanda J. Robinson served our country for 25 years in the US Army, Florida Army National Guard and in the US Army Reserves.  She entered the US Army as a Personnel Officer at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana and served in several Personnel Officer positions early in her military career.  Later, she became a Logistics Officer in the Florida National Guard and in the US Army Reserves.  As a Logistics Officer, she was stationed in Homestead Air Base Florida, Fort Gordon, Georgia at and the Naval Weapon Station-North Charleston.  Her last assignment was in Iraq where she served as a Liaison Officer for the 402nd Field Support Brigade headquartered in Bagdad.  In this position, she reported to General Officers the status of and ensured that all cargo between local bases within Iraq was delivered on time.   She was awarded the Bronze Star and wears the Combat Identification Badge for Iraq for her contribution to Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Her other awards include; the Meritorious Service Medal, numerous Army Commendation and Army Achievement Medals and the Florida Commendation Medal to name a few.   She also earned the Parachutist Badge for successful completion of Airborne School.  Currently, LTC Robinson is the Senior Army Instructor for the Woodland High School JROTC program.  She has been married to Lester Robinson for 29 years and they have three children, Leah, Lydia and Lester, Jr.
