Subjects Taught
Biology 1

I am a 1991 graduate of St. George High School and a 1995 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Science Education in Biology and General Science. I am also National Board Certified in Adolescent and Young Adulthood Science.

I have 24 years of experience teaching Biology and Forensic Science.  I taught 15 years in Berkeley School District at St. Stephen High School and then at Timberland High School. Being a product of Dorchester School District 4, I am now very proud to be home teaching Biology here at Woodland High School.

I was raised from birth in Reevesville, SC and attended St. George Elementary School, Williams Memorial Middle School, and graduated from St. George High School in 1991.  I am proud to have been Valedictorian of my graduating class and attended Clemson University on full scholarship.  I graduated from Clemson University in 1995 with a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education in Biology and General Science.  I was immediately hired as a new teacher in Berkeley County where I continued to teach until 8 years ago when I transferred to Woodland High School.  I am proud to be home and as a product of this school system I have a vested interest in the success of our students and our school.
